URGENT HELP REQUIRED TO RAISE FUNDS

 URGENT HELP REQUIRED

On October 3rd, 2025 my wheelchair broke and was forced to dump it as there are no parts available for it.

My car's engine ceased on December 4th, 2025 whilst on my way to the clinic. 

Now I am in a predicament where I am forced to source other ways of getting to the clinic and the shops every month and have to collect my meds from the clinic every two months as per my repeat prescription. 

Since the wheelchair broke, I am struggling to get to my kitchen and lounge etc, especially when I am having to cook food for myself.

I have thus created a Back-a-Buddy campaign to try and raise the funds needed to replace my wheelchair and for the repair of my car's engine, as I only receive a disability grant from (SASSA) the government for my disability.

In July 2023 I could no longer afford my rent where I was living, so I went to live on a farm for SASSA pensioners with the few pieces of furniture and belongings I had.  Shortly afterwards I applied for a new home to move to which I qualified for, taking into consideration my circumstances but it would take some time as there are many applications in the system.  The farm had no running water or electricity so I had to make do with what I could use. My Life Story I was born Christo De Flamingh on 29 April 1971 on the early hours of that Thursday morning.  When I was about 4 years old when we lived in a military base as my dad was an artillery instructor in the SADF. This was our first family home after I was born.  One night we had visitors over and my mom sent me to run a bath for myself.  I placed the plug into the bath trap and opened the hot water tap. After a couple of minutes as alot of kids do, I got bored waiting for the bath to fill up with water.  I decided to lie on top of the edge of the bath and after a couple of seconds I lost my balance and fell into the bath half filled with hot water and almost immediately I let out a blood curling scream. My mom appeared in an instant as she ran to the bathroom after my screams for help. Tears of Grief

 Tears of loss In the month of June 2021, I suffered the loss of four loved ones due to illness /  Covid-19 and old-age.  God has not forsake us as I can testify to that. Since I lost my only surviving parent in April 2019,  I have only strengthened my love and trust in God since my mom's passing.  1. Ta' Saartjie (Aunt - my mom's sister)  2.
